Unmounted cylindrical bearings provide the maximum radial load (normal load) capacity of all roller bearing types. Single-row caged cylindrical roller bearings are manufactured in various geometric designs depending on the manufacturer. Inside and outside ring configurations are chosen to accommodate different application specifications. Caged bearings can tolerate heavy radial loads, rapid accelerations and high speed shaft revolutions.
