Grid Couplings

A grid coupling consists of two flanged hubs connected by a serpentine mechanical flexible grid element. The tapered design of the grid element allows the strength of steel to drive the equipment through the full range of loading conditions, allowing for extended coupling life while maintaining similar misalignment and vibration damping capabilities of an elastomeric coupling.
