Synchronous Drive Sheaves

Synchronous belt drives help reduce slippage, stretch, lubrication, and loss of synchronization of driving and driven equipment, without introducing metal-to-metal contact. A performance feature is power transmission by positive engagement of belt teeth rather than by friction, as in conventional belt drives.
